Why it breaks here

Bahamian summers run outdoor units hot for twelve hours a day.

Salt air, grid surges and 90-degree afternoons wear down the same five parts again and again. We know which ones, and we bring them on the van.

Inside your outdoor unit

Five parts do the work.
We service all of them.

  1. Fan & motor Seized bearings after salt exposure. We test amps and replace motors same-day.
  2. Condenser coil Salt air corrodes aluminium fins. Deep cleans and coatings add years.
  3. Compressor The heart. Overheats when coils are dirty or charge is low.
  4. Capacitor & board The #1 failure after a power surge. Usually a one-visit fix.
  5. Stand & tie-downs Hurricane-rated mounting keeps the unit on the wall in a storm.

Your details

Good questions.

How much does a visit cost?

The diagnostic visit is a flat fee, shown above, and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead. You'll get a written quote before any work beyond the diagnosis, and you approve it on your phone.

Do you charge VAT?

Yes. Prices are shown before VAT, and 10% VAT is added on every quote and invoice as a separate line.

How do Family Island visits work?

We group out-island jobs into scheduled trips, and the trip charge for your island is shown on your quote before you approve. Emergencies can be flown in sooner — call us.

Can I pay by card or bank transfer?

Card, bank transfer, cash or cheque. Every invoice has a secure link so you can pay online.

What happens after a power surge?

Turn the unit off at the breaker and leave it off. Surges usually take out the capacitor or control board, so book an emergency visit. A surge protector prevents most repeats.
